The O Antiphons begin Dec. 17!
This Advent tradition requires no prep, no crafting, no physical materials.
All you need to do is pray or sing them!
Beginning December 17th, we pray the O antiphons for seven days until Christmas.
The O Antiphons are said during Advent to help prepare for the coming of Christ. In fact, the word ‘come’ is in every single antiphon!
The O Antiphons are taken directly from the Liturgy of the Hours, or Vespers (evening prayer.) You might also hear them said before the Gospel reading during daily Mass.
Each day’s antiphon highlights a different title of Christ used in the Old Testament. The antiphon prayers are super short and super doable!
